# Start

The scenario begins with the "Start" block. A person lands here when they write to the bot for the first time or start it over — for example, with the `/start` command in Telegram. The block itself sends nothing and passes the person on right away, so the greeting is written in the next block.

The block has no settings.

## Outputs

- "Continue" — connect it to the block the conversation begins with.

## Good to know

- A scenario has one start block. On the scheme it is labelled "Start".
- You can also make a "Simple message" or "Message chain" block the start block: open the block's menu on the scheme and choose "Set as starting block". The scenario will then begin with a message right away.
