# Send from previous block

Sometimes a scenario is extended later: a continuation is connected to the last block, but people have already stopped at the previous one and will not move on by themselves. "Send from previous block" sends the block to everyone who is now on the blocks before it.

## How to send

1. Open the bot's scheme and click the block you need to send.
2. In the block's settings panel, find the "Send from previous block" section and click the "Send: …" button — it shows how many contacts are on the previous blocks. The same item is in the block's "⋯" menu.
3. In the window, tick the blocks to take contacts from: next to each one is the number of people on it.
4. Click "Send: …" at the bottom of the window.

The block goes out as a mailing: it appears in the "Mailings" section with the "From previous block" kind. There you can also see the sending progress and stop it — the same way as a [regular mailing](https://support.watbot.org/chatbots/mailings/results).

Sending requires a Pro subscription.

The section is visible if at least one other block leads to the block.

## Who gets the block

Contacts who are on the ticked blocks at the moment of sending. Previous blocks are the ones that lead to the chosen block by the "Continue" connection or by a button.

- Those who left the block by themselves while the sending was in progress will not get the block a second time. Such contacts are counted in the "Skipped" counter.
- Those who have unsubscribed from mailings get the block too: it is a continuation of the scenario, not a mailing to the whole base.
- Those who have blocked the bot, contacts from MAX and contacts the bot is turned off for do not get the block.

## Good to know

- While the block is being sent, a second sending of the same block cannot be started — wait until it finishes or stop the first one in the "Mailings" section.
- Such a mailing cannot be edited or copied. To send the block once more, start the sending from the scheme again.
- A "Delay" block does not count as a previous one: contacts waiting on a delay get the next block by its schedule.
- Transitions from other scenarios through the "Scenario" block are not taken into account.
- If you delete the block during sending, the sending stops.
- "Subscribe to mailing list" and "Unsubscribe from mailing list" blocks sent this way do not work.
