# Bot message

The bot writes to the person in the messenger the app was opened from: an order confirmation, an appointment number, a link to a file. Handy to keep the important things in the chat after the app is closed.

## Settings

- **"What to send"** — a chain of up to 10 messages. The "Add message" button offers a type: "Text", "Image", "Video", "Audio", "File".
- **Text** — up to 4,000 characters.
- **Image, video, audio, file** — uploaded into the block. You can add a "Caption" to a file — a line under it, up to 1,024 characters.

Variable placeholders work in the text and the caption: `Thank you, {{ name }}! Your order number is {{ orderNumber }}.`

## Exits

- **"Sent"** — the messages are queued for sending.
- **"No contact"** — the person has no bot contact or the message is empty.

## Specifics

- The message is sent by the bot the app was opened from — you do not need to choose a bot.
- Messages are sent in the background: the app does not wait for delivery and goes on through "Sent" right away.
