# Multiline input

A field for long text: an order comment, a review, wishes. What is entered goes into a variable.

## Settings

- **"Variable"**, **"Label"**, **"Placeholder"**, **"Default value"** — as for [all fields](https://support.watbot.org/mini-apps/elements/fields#shared-settings).
- **"Rows"** — the field height, from 1 to 20 rows. A new field has 4.
- **"Grow with content"** — the field gets taller when the text does not fit.
