# Analytics

The "Analytics" section in the school menu shows how many people come to the school, how many pay and how far they get in the courses. On the right are the tabs: "Overview", "Courses", "Lessons", "Quizzes", "Students".

The section is visible to the school owner and team members with the "View students" permission.

Days are counted in the school's time zone — it is set in the [settings](https://support.watbot.org/schools/settings). Today is counted on the fly, so fresh numbers are visible right away.

## Period

On the "Overview" and "Courses" tabs, you choose the period at the top: "7 days", "30 days", "90 days" or "Year". The selected period is kept when you switch between tabs.

## Overview

**Metrics.** Six cards for the period: "Sign-ups", "Course enrollments", "Payments", "Active students", "Lessons completed", "Courses finished". Under the number is the percentage change "vs previous period" of the same length.

**"Revenue".** The total of payments for the period — separately for each currency. If payments came in several currencies, the total in rubles is shown below: each payment is converted at the exchange rate on the day of payment.

**"Daily dynamics".** A chart of the metrics by day of the period.

**"Funnel".** How many of those who came during the period reached each step:

1. "Signed up"
2. "Enrolled"
3. "Started learning"
4. "Paid"
5. "Finished the course"

Each step shows the number of people, the share of the first step and "…% of the previous step". The funnel is built by cohort: it takes those who came during the period and shows how far they got — so all steps are made up of the same people. The "All courses" filter above the funnel builds it for one course: then the cohort is those who enrolled in it.

## Courses

A table for all courses of the school:

| Column | What it shows |
|---|---|
| "Enrolled" | How many students enrolled in the course during the period |
| "Students" | How many students the course has in total |
| "Average progress" | The average completion percentage |
| "Finished" | The share of students who completed the whole course, and how many days it took them on average |
| "Revenue in period" | The total of the course's payments for the period, by currency |

Enrollments and revenue are counted for the selected period, progress and completion — for all students of the course. An unpublished course is marked "Draft".

## Lessons

Choose a course — the students' path through its published lessons appears. For each lesson:

- how many students reached it and what share of all the course's students that is;
- how many people dropped off at this step — a number with a minus sign;
- "completed: …" — how many finished the lesson;
- "awaiting review: …" — how many homework assignments for the lesson are waiting for a curator.

This report shows at which lesson students abandon the course.

## Quizzes

A table for all quizzes of the school: the course and lesson, the type — "Graded", "Practice" or "Placement", the number of attempts and students, the share who passed and the average score.

Below is "Hardest questions": the questions with the lowest share of correct answers, labeled "… correct of …". Only completed attempts are counted. The question text is taken from the attempt — if you later edited the question in the quiz, the report keeps the previous wording.

## Students

A table for the school's students: how many courses a student has and how many of them are completed, average progress, how much they have paid (in rubles, at the exchange rate on the day of payment) and when they last signed in. Sorting — "Newest first", "By progress", "By last login" or "By payments".

## CSV export

Each tab has an "Export CSV" button. It exports the report of that tab, and on "Quizzes" it offers a choice: "Quizzes" or "Questions". On "Overview", the "By day" metrics are exported. After you click it, "Preparing the file, the download will start on its own" appears.
