New

  • Mini app builder. A mini app is a set of screens with text, buttons, forms and lists that you build on a scheme without programming. The app opens:

    • inside Telegram — with a bot button;
    • inside MAX — with a bot button;
    • in the browser via a link and from the phone screen, if added as an app (PWA).

  • The "Web chat" channel. A chat with the bot right on your website: the bot answers a visitor with the same scenario as in messengers. More in Web chat.

  • Chat in the widget. Web chat is embedded into a widget on the website — see Chat in the widget.

  • Testing the bot in the builder. You can run the bot right on the scenario page: the "Test the bot" button opens a chat window next to the scheme. It is handy for building and checking a scenario. More in Testing the bot.

  • Debugging while testing. The "Variables and tags" panel shows which variables and tags the bot has written to the contact, and "Follow the current block" highlights on the scheme the block the bot is answering with. More in Variables and tags. Before launching the bot for everyone, still go through the scenario in real messengers — see How testing differs from a real conversation.

  • Notes on the scheme. You can put a colored sticky note with text on the scenario scheme to label branches or leave a reminder for colleagues. More in Notes.

  • The "Box selection" tool. Turned on in the zoom panel: the box is drawn without Shift and selects all blocks and notes it touches. More in Selecting several blocks.

  • Hide empty connections. A button on the builder's top toolbar removes outputs that lead nowhere from blocks — on a large scheme only the working branches remain. More in The top toolbar.

  • Jump to the next block from a button. Hover over a button in a block on the scheme and click the arrow — the scheme moves to the block this button leads to.

  • Copy and paste shortcuts. Selected blocks are copied with Ctrl + C (⌘ + C) and pasted with Ctrl + V (⌘ + V) — into the same scenario, another scenario or another bot. More in Copying and pasting.

  • Sound for new messages. While the "Messages" section is open, an incoming message plays a sound. More in Section settings.

  • Project menu customization. You can hide sections you don't need and arrange the rest in your own order: "More" → "Customize menu". More in Ordering and hiding sections.

  • Two-factor authentication. Signing in to the account can be additionally protected with a code from an app on your phone. More in Two-factor authentication.

  • Project payment systems. Payment systems are now connected in the project settings, on the "Accepting payments" tab, and chosen in online schools. More in Project payment systems.

Changes

  • Button settings are in the block settings. The button layout is now set up right in the block's "Menu" section, for all messengers at once: the "Same in all messengers" switch is on by default. More in Button layout.
  • Where to add new buttons. The switch above the add button in the "Menu" section decides where new buttons go by default — "Under the message" (inline buttons) or "Under the input field". The choice applies to all blocks. More in Where to add new buttons.
  • Special buttons are visible on the scheme. Buttons that open a link, a mini app or a search in the inline bot are marked with an icon in the block, so they are easy to tell from regular ones.
  • A new look for the "Messages" section. The design has been refreshed, and a bubbles view like in a messenger has been added, with a choice of background, including a custom color. More in Conversation view.
  • Legacy blocks. The "Book an entry from a list", "Voting for a participant", "Voting leaders", "Voting Participant Registration", "Shopping cart" and "Order list" blocks have been removed from the block catalog. Blocks you already created still work for now and can be copied.

  • Connecting CloudPayments. Fixed an error when adding the CloudPayments integration. More in Bot payment systems.
