Distribution by groups
Splits the bot's subscribers into random groups of a set size, gives each one a tag with the group number and can send the members a message with the list of their group. The block suits cohorts, teams and shifts.

Warning
The block distributes all subscribers of the bot, not only the one who got into it. It is enough for one person to pass through the block. Place the block in a branch that only the bot's administrator reaches.
Settings
- "Group tag prefix" — the beginning of the tag. Members get a tag made of the prefix and the group number: with the "Group" prefix it is "Group1", "Group2" and so on.
- "Group size" — how many members one group has.
- "Minimum group size" — how many members it takes for the last, incomplete group to count as a group.
- "What to do with an incomplete group?" — what to do if the last group has fewer members than the minimum size:
- "Distribute to other groups" — its members are spread over the other groups;
- "Do not group" — its members are left without a group.
- "Group members contain tags" — only contacts with all of these tags take part in the distribution.
- "Group members do not contain tags" — contacts with any of these tags do not take part in the distribution.
- "Group member message template" — the message each member will get. The buttons under the field insert "List of names" — a numbered list of the group's members — and "Group number". If the field is empty, no messages are sent.
Outputs
- "Continue" — when the distribution is finished. Only the contact who started the block follows this output.
Good to know
- Contacts of one messenger are distributed — the one the contact who started the block came from. Each messenger has its own groups.
- Before the distribution, all tags that begin with the prefix are removed from contacts. Choose a prefix that none of your other tags begin with.
- On a repeated run, the block tries to shuffle the members in a new way.
- While the distribution is running, the same contact cannot start it again: the bot replies with a request to wait until it finishes.
Note
Templates in the message template are described in the Templates section.
