Plan and tokens

The base plan is a monthly volume of tokens. Tokens are spent on two things:

  • indexing documents — when they are added, changed and auto-updated;
  • search queries to the base — from the AI chat, the AI agent, connected services and the "Search testing" page.

Usage is shown in the header of the "Documents" page and in the list of bases: used / total. Details by day and by event are on the Search testing and statistics page.

When the volume is used up, new documents are not indexed: the document shows the error "The monthly token quota has been exhausted. The limit will reset at the start of the next billing period." The counter resets when the plan renews. If the volume is constantly not enough, change the plan.

Plan prices are on the Prices of additional services page. The plan is paid from the account balance, not from "AI Credits".

Change the plan

Open the base "Settings", choose a different volume and click "Save". In the "Change plan" window, the platform shows the price of the new plan, how much is credited from the remainder of the current one, the amount to be charged and the date until which the new plan will be valid.

Only the person who created the base can change the plan.

Renewal

The plan renews automatically every month. The header of the "Documents" page shows the date until which the base is paid for.

  • Turn off auto-renewal — the "⋯" menu next to the date → "Disable auto-renewal". The base will work until the end of the paid period and then turn off. To bring renewal back, use "Enable auto-renewal" in the same place or in the base menu in the list.
  • The base has turned off — the list and the header show "Inactive since …" and the "Renew" button. If there was not enough money on the balance at auto-renewal, the base turns off the same way.

Warning

An inactive base is kept for 30 days. If it is not renewed during this time, the base is deleted.

If something does not work

  • The document shows "Error" and a message about the quota. The monthly token volume is used up. Switch to a bigger plan or wait for the renewal, then click "Retry".
  • "Only the knowledge base owner can change the plan." The plan is changed by the person who created the base.
  • There is no "Add document" button, and the header says "Inactive since …". The base plan has ended. Click "Renew".
