Online schools
An online school is your courses plus a separate website for students — the student portal. You build courses from lessons, add quizzes and homework, and set a price. Students sign up in the student portal, pay for access, take the lessons and receive a certificate.
Schools live in the "Online schools" section of the project. One project can have several schools, each with its own courses, students, student portal address and plan.
What a school contains
Once you open a school, its menu appears on the left:
| Section | What is in it |
|---|---|
| "Courses" | The school's courses: a curriculum of sections and lessons, settings, access packages, curators |
| "Students" | Everyone who has signed up in the student portal: course access, quiz results, blocking |
| "Analytics" | Sign-ups, payments, revenue, funnel, reports on courses, lessons and quizzes |
| "Homework review" | The queue of homework waiting to be reviewed |
| "Questions" | Students' questions about lessons |
| "Certificates" | Issued certificates and their design |
| "Orders" | Course payments |
| "Settings" | The student portal address and design, school pages, your own domain, accepting payments |
| "Plan" | The school's plan, its limits and payment |
| "AI help" | The AI chat about this school or the open course — see Building a course in the AI chat |

A team member sees only the sections they have permissions for — see Team members and content review for details.
What you need
- A school plan. A school does not need a Pro subscription: it has its own plan, which determines how many students can sign up and how much space the materials can take. Until the plan is active, you can build courses, but you cannot accept students or upload files. How to activate the plan is on the Creating a school and its plan page, and the prices are on the Prices of additional services page.
- Links to legal documents. The offer, the privacy policy and the consent to personal data processing. A student accepts them when signing up, so the school settings will not save without all three links. Where to enter them is on the School settings page.
- The project's payment system — if your courses are paid. Money for courses goes straight to your account in the payment system. How to connect it to the school is on the Selling courses page.
- A chatbot — optional. Through a bot in Telegram or MAX, students get notifications and open the student portal right in the messenger. More on this on the Students page.
Where to start
- Create a school and activate a plan or the trial period.
- Fill in the settings: the name, the student portal address, the design, links to documents.
- Build a course: sections, lessons, videos. Publish the lessons and the course itself.
- If the course is paid, add access packages and set up payments.
- Send students the link to the student portal. It is shown at the top of the school settings.
Steps 3 and 4 can also be done in words — in the AI chat: see Building a course in the AI chat.
