Accepting payments

This section is about the money your customers pay you: for a product in a chatbot, for an order in a shop, for a course in an online school. Paying for the platform itself — the Pro subscription and additional services — is described in the Plans and billing section.

How accepting money works

The platform does not take money into its own account and does not hold it. You connect your own shop, terminal or cash desk in a payment system, and then it goes like this:

  1. The customer gets to the payment step — in a bot scenario, in the shop cart or on a course page.
  2. The platform creates a payment in your payment system and gives the customer a link to its payment page.
  3. The customer pays on the payment system's side. The money goes straight to your account there.
  4. The payment system sends the platform a payment notification. After it, the bot continues the scenario, the order becomes paid and the student gets access to the course.

The platform does not see or store card details.

What you need

  • A contract with the payment system. Access keys are issued in its dashboard — you cannot connect payments without them.
  • A notification URL. For some systems it has to be copied from the platform into the payment system's dashboard. Without it the platform will not know that the customer has paid.
  • A Pro subscription — to accept payments in a chatbot. More on the What is available without Pro page.

Two places to connect

A payment system is connected where you sell. These are two independent settings: keys entered in one place do not work in the other.

Where you sell Where to connect Page
In a chatbot — with payment blocks In the bot: "Settings" → the "Integrations" tab. Each bot has its own connections Bot payment systems
In a shop and an online school In the project: "Settings" → the "Accepting payments" tab. Connections are shared by the project's sections Project payment systems

Shop blocks in a chatbot and a shop storefront in a mini app have no connections of their own: an order is paid through the payment system chosen in the shop itself. Shops are covered in the Shop section, schools in the Online schools section, mini apps in the Mini apps section.

Which payment systems are available

Your account shows only the systems that are enabled on your platform, so the list may be shorter.

  • YooKassa — in the bot and in the project. Sends receipts.
  • YooMoney — in the bot only: payment to a wallet, in roubles.
  • T-Bank — in the bot and in the project, in roubles. Sends receipts.
  • Robokassa — in the bot and in the project: a shop in Russia accepts roubles, in Kazakhstan — tenge. Sends receipts.
  • CloudPayments — in the bot and in the project. Sends receipts.
  • Prodamus — in the bot and in the project. Creates the receipt itself according to its dashboard settings.
  • bePaid — in the bot and in the project.
  • LiqPay — in the bot and in the project.
  • Crypto Pay — in the bot only: payment in cryptocurrency through @CryptoBot.

Which currencies each system accepts and what to enter for it is on the connection pages.

Pages in this section

  • Receipts — which systems send a receipt, VAT rate, tax system, the second receipt when an order is completed.
