Check if a row exists in Google Sheets
Checks whether a spreadsheet column has a cell with the given value, and leads the scenario down one of two branches.

Settings
- "Link to table" and "Sheet" — where to look.
- "Search text" — what to look for. Templates work here, for example
{{ $promo_code }}or{{ phone }}. - "Search column" — the column letter.
The block looks for a cell whose value matches the text in full.
Outputs
- "Exists" — the value is found.
- "Not exists" — the value is not in the column.
If not all fields are filled in, the bot sends 'Set up all the fields in the "Check for the existence of a record in Google Sheet" block.' and goes no further.
Good to know
For the duration of the check, the block creates a service sheet in the spreadsheet and deletes it right away. So the connected Google account needs permission to edit the spreadsheet.
